1. "越....越......." is usually translated as "the more... the more..." in English, which is used to express that as a certain situation changes or the degree increases, another situation Or the results change or increase accordingly. 

  • 例如:

  • The more you practice, the better you get.

    • 越练习,就越进步。
  • The more he studies, the more confident he becomes.

    • 他学习得越多,就越自信。

2. "像....一样"In English, the expression "like..." can usually be expressed in the following ways: Like: This is the most common way of comparing two things for their similarity or identity in some way.

3. “虽然....但是”In Chinese sentences, the structure of "although...but" expresses a contrastive relationship, that is, although one situation exists, another situation still occurs or is true. In English, this structure can usually be expressed in the following ways:

  • Although... but

    • Although he was tired, he still finished the project.
    • 虽然他很累,但他还是完成了项目。
  • Even though... still

    • Even though it was raining, they decided to go for a walk.
    • 虽然下雨了,他们还是决定出去散步。
  • Though... yet

    • Though she studied hard, she didn't pass the exam.
    • 虽然她努力学习,但她没能通过考试。
  • While... nevertheless

    • While he apologized, she remained angry.
    • 虽然他道歉了,但她仍然生气。

4. “一边....一边”In Chinese sentences, the structure of "one side...one side..." refers to the execution of two or more actions or states at the same time. In English, this structure can be expressed in the following way:

  • While... (at the same time)...

    • He listened to music while studying.
    • 他一边听音乐,一边学习。
  • As... (at the same time)...

    • She cooked dinner as she talked on the phone.
    • 她一边打电话,一边做晚饭。
  • Doing... and... at the same time

    • He was driving and checking his phone at the same time.
    • 他一边开车,一边看手机。
  • Simultaneously... and...

    • They were laughing and crying simultaneously.
    • 他们一边笑,一边哭。

"5.The word "一定" in English sentences can be translated as "certainly," "definitely," or "surely," depending on the context. It denotes a strong sense of assurance or certainty regarding something.

 

6.  “经常”In Chinese sentence descriptions, "frequently" is usually used for the intermittent occurrence or persistence of an action or state. In Chinese, this meaning can be expressed in the following ways:

  • Often: Indicates that an action or state occurs frequently or continues.

    • She often goes jogging in the morning.
    • 她经常早上去跑步。
  • Frequently: Emphasize the frequency of an action or state.

  • He frequently visits his grandparents on weekends.
  • 他经常在周末去看望他的祖父母。
